LegalCoordination of complex country projects requires careful consultation with and coordination among stakeholders, and dissemination of results. Hence, these exercises are most commonly led by “National Taskforces” comprising public and private sector agencies with a direct interest in collecting and using the information generated.

Activities need to be backed by adequate legal powers mandating data collection and protecting the confidentiality of those supplying the data.

To ensure that exercises are sustainable in future (in terms of the provision of timely and accurate data from the private sector), National Taskforces need to build partnership with the private sector.
