Needs assessment
These missions are designed to assess the needs and demand for capacity building assistance in the following areas:
- institutional and legal issues relating to all aspects of debt and aid management
- operational external and domestic debt management, strategy analysis and implementation
- debt renegotiations
- new external and domestic financing strategy design and implementation
- risk and cost management associated with alternative strategies
- macroeconomic forecasting and development poverty reduction programming
The output of the mission is a report to Government on its capacity building needs and recommendations on how best these can be met by DFI and other providers.
